WWF All Star Wrestling – July 25, 1981

I think everything seems to be working normal again, as the last round of taping the episodes were a mess. We crowned a new Intercontinental Champion, Don Muraco two weeks ago. This week the Moondogs defend against former champions, Tony Garea and Rick Martel. Can we have another title change this month? Let’s go to the ring.

WWF All Star Wrestling – July 18, 1981

Last week we crowned a new WWF Intercontinental Champion in The Magnificent One, Don Muraco. The July 11th episode is the same as the previous week’s, but the July 18th episode is the July 11th episode. The Network is such a mess when it’s thing they don’t seem to care about. This week we’re joined by both the Intercontinental Champion and the World Champion, plus a gigantic six man tag, so let’s not waste time. Let’s go to the ring.

WWF All Star Wrestling – June 20, 1981

Episode two of this taping continues along, as last week we had two good tag team matches plus an appearance from Andre the Giant. Killer Khan & Freddie Blassie attacked the injured Andre, who tonight will make an announcement. Also scheduled to join us are the former tag champions, Rick Martel & Tony Garea. WWF All Star Wrestling – June 13, 1981

This starts a new taping cycle which is strange as the last taping was only two episodes and the one before that was for four? That makes no sense, wonder if they are working the kinks out before settling on a normal taping cycle? Last week we have a really good tag team match, and Don Muraco continued his winning ways defeating SD Jones. Last week I said we would have a debut, but I am incorrect as it’s actually a return. He was with the WWWF in 1978/1979 and left for two years to go to the Mid-Atlantic territory. Tonight he returns and someone will get hammered. Let’s go to the ring.

WWF All Star Wrestling – June 6, 1981

A new month brings us to the middle of 1981, and it’s been a great year so far with lots of new faces. Some exciting, some not so much. We’ve lost a few names from last year, some may return in the future, others are gone for good. Steve King continues his losing streak, as does Angelo Gomez, and a few others, while others are still undefeated. Tonight, in Hamburg, PA, we continue the year and our feature bout is Johnny Rodz & Baron Mikel Scicluna facing former tag champions, Rick Martel & Tony Garea. Let’s go to the ring.

WWF All Star Wrestling – May 30, 1981

We finally get to the start of a new taping cycle after stretching the last taping over four weeks by playing old matches. Hopefully they compensated for the longer usage by doing more matches per taping. Guess we’ll find out tonight. This week’s episode was filmed on May 20th, 1981 from Hamburg, PA as usual. Tonight our main event is Rick McGraw versus Angelo Mosca. Let’s go to the ring.

Last week for some strange reason, they decided to air two matches not from that taping. One from seven years ago and the other seemed to be from Championship Wrestling. Not sure why they did that, but this would the third and final part of the taping from April 29th, so hopefully it’s back to normal. Tonight’s show is headlined by the Moondogs versus Tony Garea & Rick Martel for the Tag Team Championships. Let’s go to the ring.

After a very well done house show, with some great action from Patterson and Slaughter, we return to All Star Wrestling. The Network doesn’t have the blow off match to the Patterson/Slaughter feud, but I have it, so it will be added at the end of the appropriate show. Tonight’s episode features comments from the former Tag Team Champions and another debut. Let’s go to the ring.

WWF From Madison Square Garden – April 8, 1981

We finally return to Madison Square Gardens for a huge house show. Tonight we’re headlined by Bob Backlund defending the gold inside the Steel Cage against the Lariat Stan Hansen! That could be phenomenal. With only just under an hour shown, it looks like the preliminary matches are missing, we’ll see what those are later. Let’s go to the ring.

Last week’s episode was not the most exciting, other than seeing a very young and very green King Kong Bundy. However this week, we finish off the taping rotation, with a huge match. The Tag Titles are on the line as the champions will defends against The Moondogs, plus Andre the Giant is joining us tonight. This is going to be great. Let’s go to the ring.
