WWF All Star Wrestling – November 14, 1981

We missed last week’s episode of All Star, which featured wins for Pedro Morales, Jesse Ventura, Rick Martel & Tony Garea, Adrian Adonis and Don Muraco. Doesn’t seem like we missed anything to exciting, which is good. This week Adrian Adonis is in action, along with Tony Garea in a singles match. Let’s go to the ring.. <–!more–>

Pat and Vince welcome us to tonight’s broadcast, and Pat says Garea is just as good single as he is tag team.

1. Mr Fuji & Mr Saito v. Jerry Johnson & Domenic Denucci

Saito & Denucci start out and they jockey for position with Saito taking Denucci down. Saito ties him up and controls Denucci into the ropes, clean break and Fuji doesn’t get involved either. Saito with a shoulderblock but second time he gets caught in a hiptoss. Albano on commentary says Saito will dominate Denucci as he is an Olympic medal winner. Fuji tagged in and he slowly powers Denucci down, but Denucci comes back with a side headlock. Shoulderblock from Denucci takes down Fuji, but the second one is countered to a slam and Fuji misses the elbowdrop. Denucci quickly hammers Fuji, both men make tags. Saito dominates Jerry and brings in Fuji who continues to tear apart Jerry. Quick tags from the Japanese team puts Jerry Johnson in a world of problems. Saito suplex from Saito gets the win.

2. Jose Estrada v. Tony Atlas

Lockup to start and into the ropes for a clean break. Estrada with a waistlock and Tony easily powers out of the hold. Estrada snapmares Atlas over and stomps away on Atlas, raking the eyes and hammering away on the face. Estrada makes a mistake of smashing the face of Atlas into the turnbuckle which only fires him up, and Atlas quickly comes back sending Estrada to each turnbuckle. Atlas with a press slam from the easy win.

2. Tony Atlas crushed Jose Estrada

3. Killer Khan v. Barry Hart

Pat says Joe Cox retired after the beating from Khan two weeks ago, as Khan is all over Hart. Khan stomping away at Hart and drives him to the corner multiple times before dumping him to the floor. Khan follows and continues to destroy Hart and tosses him back in the ring. Vertical suplex from Khan into a slam, almost a jackhammer. Side backbreaker and Hart is quivering on the mat, while Blassie instructs Khan to continue the punishment. Double chop and diving kneedrop for three.

3. Killer Khan annihilated Barry Hart

Patterson at ringside with Adrian Adonis & Fred Blassie, asks about his amateur background. Adonis says he fought from the gutter, and will knock everyone down one by one. Adonis says anyone who gets in his way will be mowed over, Atlas, Martel and Backlund among others and he will take the title. Blassie says he has the best and now he has a man who knows how to wrestle and has other tactics which makes him unbeatable.

4. Angelo Mosca v. Steve King

Typical Mosca match as he slams, stomps and pounds on King with a slow methodical pace. Mosca pulls King up at two and referee Dick Whoerlie gets in his face. Backbreaker from Mosca scores a quick easy win.

4. Angelo Mosca pinned Steve King

5. Adrian Adonis v. Angelo Gomez

Right at the start Adonis takes out the leg and ties up Gomez then drops an elbow. Flipping slam from Adonis gets a near fall, followed by a nice backbreaker and pulls him up at two. Vertical suplex from Adonis and sends Gomez in, Adonis locks on the sleeper for the win.

6. Hans Schroeder v. Tony Garea

Hans overpowers Garea and gets him the ropes, nails Garea but Garea takes down Hans. Hammerlock from Garea and Hans makes the ropes, shoulderblock from Hans and then into the rear chinlock. Garea whipped to the corner and Hans charges, but Garea moves and Hans crashes hard. Hammerlock from Garea and Hans again makes the ropes breaking the hold. Test of strength and Hans with a shot to the midsection of Garea, sends him in and a back body drop sends Garea crashing. Hans with a big slam, a second one countered to a small package for the win.
