With only two more episodes left for 1981, we’re closing in on the end of the year, but with the addition of Mid-Atlantic, Mid-South and soon World Class we’ll have lots of wrestling. Even though we lose the WWF shows come February and nothing WWF for over two years, at least the other territories are fantastic. Last week on All Star we started a feud between Greg Valentine and Pedro Morales over the Intercontinental Championship, plus SD Jones scored a win over Baron Mikel by countout. This week in the battle of Minnesota, Jesse Ventura faces Curt Hennig. Let’s go to the ring. Read More »

WWF All Star Wrestling – September 26, 1981
To the Northeast for another exciting episode of All Star Wrestling. Last week Rick McGraw announced his retirement due to injuries from Killer Khan, which Freddie Blassie and Khan relished in. SD Jones & Domenic Denucci scored a win, as did Mr Fuji & Mr Saito in tag action. Khan, Greg Valentine and Roberto Soto also won their respective matches. This week we have Angelo Mosca in action, plus the tag team Champions, Rick Martel & Tony Garea. Let’s go to the ring. Read More »
WWF All Star Wrestling – September 19, 1981
After a brief visit to the Mid-Atlantic territory we return to the Northeast for another episode of All-Star. For the next few months we will alternate between shows as they both air the same day. Tonight on All-Star we have Killer Khan in action, plus the man he injured Rick McGraw is in the building. Let’s go to the ring. Read More »
WWF All Star Wrestling – September 5, 1981
Last week ended the last taping cycle, and I guess they were a little short as we got a match with Tony Atlas from 3 years earlier. That was very weird, as they’ve shown it already once before this year. Anyway, this week starts the next taping and tonight we have the Tag Champions facing Johnny Rodz and Mikel Scicluna among others. Let’s go to the ring. Read More »
WWF All Star Wrestling – August 29, 1981
The third and final part of this taping cycle concludes. Last week we had the debut of a new tag team of Angelo Mosca and Killer Khan, who destroyed the competition. Can they become the next challengers to the Tag Team Champions, Rick Martel & Tony Garea? This week we’re joined once again by Mr Fuji & Mr Saito in action, among others. Let’s head to the ring. WWF All Star Wrestling – August 8, 1981
Previously on All Star Wrestling, the Intercontinental Champion Don Muraco defeated Curt Hennig in our main event. We also saw the debut of Captain Lou Albano’s newest tag team, Mr Fuji and Mr Saito. Roberto Soto made his debut and George Steele and Killer Khan demolished their respective opponents. Tonight Don Muraco faces a tough challenge in Domenic Denucci. Let’s go to the ring. Read More »
WWF All Star Wrestling – July 18, 1981
Last week we crowned a new WWF Intercontinental Champion in The Magnificent One, Don Muraco. The July 11th episode is the same as the previous week’s, but the July 18th episode is the July 11th episode. The Network is such a mess when it’s thing they don’t seem to care about. This week we’re joined by both the Intercontinental Champion and the World Champion, plus a gigantic six man tag, so let’s not waste time. Let’s go to the ring. Read More »
WWF All Star Wrestling – May 16, 1981
Last week for some strange reason, they decided to air two matches not from that taping. One from seven years ago and the other seemed to be from Championship Wrestling. Not sure why they did that, but this would the third and final part of the taping from April 29th, so hopefully it’s back to normal. Tonight’s show is headlined by the Moondogs versus Tony Garea & Rick Martel for the Tag Team Championships. Let’s go to the ring. Read More »
WWF All Star Wrestling – May 9, 1981
Hopefully we don’t have another match like that tag match last week, what a debacle that was. However the bonus match after the show was amazing, and the finish to the Slaughter and Patterson feud. Tonight we have Intercontinental Champion, Pedro Morales in action, and hopefully something good. Let’s go to the ring. Read More »
WWF All Star Wrestling – April 18, 1981
Last week we saw the debuts of Mil Mascaras and George the Animal Steele, plus the ladies made their first appearance. Tonight we have Domenic Denucci versus Killer Khan as our main event, plus Sgt Slaughter is in action. Should be an interesting main event, as Khan doesn’t seem to be with Blassie on a regular basis. Let’s go to the ring. Read More »
