I still have Smackdown to watch after this, so let’s not waste any time and let’s get this show on the go.

1. Kofi Kingston & MVP v Zack Ryder & Carlito. Tonight we play make random tag teams and hope for the best, why not. At least Carlito is getting TV time. MVP & Carlito start the match, and MVP goes after Carlito’s rookie. MVP pushes Tarver and Tarver pushes back but MVP then slugs him. MVP slides in as Carlito goes to calm down his rookie who wants in the ring. Carlito finally gets in and they lock up, MVP with the side headlock. Carlito shoots him in, but MVP comes back with a shoulderblock and hiptoss. Carlito backs up as MVP poses, and Tarver giving advice to Carlito? Carlito gets back up and quickly hammers MVP and sends him to the corner, but MVP jumps over and comes back with a clothesline. Zack tagged in and comes in the hard way, as MVP flips him in and hits the shoulderblock. MVP drops the balling elbow on Ryder and waits for him to get up, but Carlito pulls him out. Kofi and MVP hit a double baseball slide as we go to commercial.

We come back and Kofi with an armbar on Ryder who fights out and sends him in, but Kofi comes back with the Monkey Flip. Zack in the corner and Kofi then launch himself onto Ryder with the punches and then tags in MVP. MVP hits a snap Suplex on Ryder for the near fall, and gets shot in, but Ryder gets caught with his head down. MVP nails Carlito, but the distraction nearly costs MVP as Ryder hits the Rough Ryder for a near fall. Carlito tagged in and he nails MVP in the gut and follows with the neckbreaker for another near fall. Carlito with a rear chinlock on MVP, who elbows his way out and sends Carlito in. Carlito comes back with the springboard back elbow and gets another near fall. Ryder tagged in and he opens up on MVP and snapmares him down and follows up with the dropkick to the back. Ryder pulls MVP to his corner and tags in Carlito who stomps on MVP. Carlito makes a mistake as he taunts MVP with his pose, allowing MVP to nail him, but Carlito snaps off a perfect dropkick. Carlito off the ropes and runs into the belly to belly Suplex from MVP, and both men are down. Kofi tagged in and hits the springboard crossbody followed by a dropkick and the Boom Drop. Kofi readies for Trouble in Paradise but Zack distracts him. Kofi hits Zack and MVP hits the big boot. Carlito sends Kofi to the ropes and Kofi bounces back with Trouble in Paradise for the win. 8/10 a great fast paced tag team match between four of the best young talents in the WWE. A great way to open the show, and very impressive match.

2. Yoshi Tatsu v William Regal. Didn’t we see this match enough in ECW? We see highlights of Tatsu winning the Wrestlemania battle royal before Regal’s introduction. Regal brings out his rookie, Skip Sheffield with him. They lock up and Regal quickly with a go behind and Tatsu to an armbar, which Regal rolls out off and reverses. Tatsu counters to a side headlock and shot in, and they collide no one moves, but a Tatsu kick takes down Regal. Tatsu back to the headlock and takes over Regal, Regal powers out and sends him out of the ring. Tatsu quickly back in and rolls up Regal for a near fall and back to the headlock. Regal sends him to the corner and nails a shoulderblock, and now Regal begins the offense on Tatsu. Regal shoots him in and hits the back elbow followed by the butterfly Suplex for a near fall. William with a rear chinlock and hammers the face, then transitions to a crossface type move. Regal spins him out and Tatsu comes back with a series of kicks and punches to Regal, but runs into a big clothesline. Regal goes for the Knee Trembler, but Tatsu avoids and kicks Regal to the corner. Tatsu hits the knee to the stomach followed by the roll into the kick for a near fall. Tatsu climbs the ropes but misses the diving spin kick and Regal locks in the Regal Stretch. Tatsu crawls his way to the ropes to break the hold and Regal stomps him down. Tatsu to the apron and connects with the sidekicks to the head of Regal for the win. 7.25/10 a good match, but very anti-climatic ending. Just seemed to come out of nowhere.

3. Trent Barreta & Caylen Croft v The Hart Dynasty. Well, can never complain about seeing the beautiful Natalya on TV. Been a while since we seen Caylen and Croft. Caylen and Kidd start, and Kidd quickly works the arm, Croft rolls out and grabs the leg, but Kidd back to the arm and a side headlock takeover. Caylen sends him in and Kidd with a shoulderblock, then jumps over the monkey flip attempt and dropkicks Croft. Trent tagged in and Kidd kicks him and goes to the armbar driving Trent down and tags in Smith. Smith overpowers Trent and does the one arm press, which always looks impressive. Smith continues to work over the arm of Trent, but Trent starts to fight back and sends Smith in. Trent goes for a dropkick and Smith blocks and goes for a Sharpshooter and Caylen pulls Trent out of the ring as we go to commercial. We come back and Kidd has an armbar on Caylen and really cranking back and transitions into a Suplex, but Caylen counters and Kidd with a go behind into a rollup. Caylen kicks Kidd into the ropes, and Trent drops a leg across the back of the neck of Kidd sending him to the floor. Trent hits a clothesline on Kidd and tosses him in, and gets tagged in. Trent continues the offense on Tyson in the corner, and tags Caylen back in. Caylen pulls Kidd up and slams him down, then tags Trent back in, and Trent hits the slingshot elbow for a near fall. Trent to a rear headlock, as we see Natalya cheer her man on. Kidd powers out but runs into a back elbow from Trent who then drops a knee across the throat. Trent pulls Kidd up and shoots him to the corner hard before tagging Croft back in. Croft drops a knee and gets a near fall, he then drives an elbow to the back and goes to the headlock and Kidd tries to fight out and gets taken down as Trent back in. They go for a double team and Kidd counters with a dropkick and tags in Smith. Smith with a pair of clotheslines on Trent and a big back drop. Smith getting fired up hits a nice belly to back Suplex and Croft makes the save. Trent pulls Smith into the ropes and goes for a tornado DDT, but Smith powers out and tags in Kidd. The Hart Dynasty hit the Hart Attack on Trent, and then Smith with a big boot on Croft as Kidd locks in the Sharpshooter for the win. 7/10 not a bad match, but the end was obvious as finally the Dynasty is getting a push. A well deserved push I might add.

Match Recap:

1. MVP & Kofi Kingston beat Carlito & Zack Ryder 8/10

2. Yoshi Tatsu beat William Regal 7.25/10

3. Hart Dynasty beat Croft & Barreta 7/10

This was another great episode of Superstars with three very good matches. The opening match was the best part of the show, and this show is so much better than Monday Night Snorefest.
