WWF From Madison Square Garden – November 23, 1981

We finally head back to MSG for a house show, this is the second and final one for the year on the Network. Wish they had more of these, as they are so fun. This runs about ninety minutes, so some matches are missing, but we have a main event of Bob Backlund versus Greg Valentine. Plus Don Muraco faces Pedro Morales, which should be a good match. WWF All Star Wrestling – July 18, 1981

Last week we crowned a new WWF Intercontinental Champion in The Magnificent One, Don Muraco. The July 11th episode is the same as the previous week’s, but the July 18th episode is the July 11th episode. The Network is such a mess when it’s thing they don’t seem to care about. This week we’re joined by both the Intercontinental Champion and the World Champion, plus a gigantic six man tag, so let’s not waste time. Let’s go to the ring.

We finally return to Madison Square Gardens for a huge house show. Tonight we’re headlined by Bob Backlund defending the gold inside the Steel Cage against the Lariat Stan Hansen! That could be phenomenal. With only just under an hour shown, it looks like the preliminary matches are missing, we’ll see what those are later. Let’s go to the ring.

WWF All Star Wrestling – March 21, 1981

Last week we had a great six man match with the Tag Champions and Rick McGraw. Tonight the champions have a different partner, a man who probably weighs as much as the tag champions, Andre the Giant. Yes, it’s a very rare appearance from the Eighth Wonder of the World, as Andre gets in the ring tonight. Also scheduled to join us is the World Champion, Bob Backlund as this seems to be a very stacked episode. Let’s go to the ring.

We finish of the month of November, where we’ve seen one title change, with a huge title match. For the first time this year we get a World Title match with Bob Backlund facing Spiros Arion. Also tonight the Moondogs and Tony Atlas join us among other names. Let’s go to the ring.

It’s too bad we’re missing the previous episode as that one contains the Intercontinental title change. Would’ve been nice for completion, but we move on. Tonight we get a very rare appearance of the World Champion, Bob Backlund, back when we didn’t see the Champion every week. It was a special occasion, something sorely lacking now. Makes the show feel special knowing Backlund is on it. Let’s go to the ring.
